Art has a special place in the curriculum at The Academy at St James. We teach drawing skills throughout their time with us developing skills to represent the world around them through their artwork.
Pupils build a visual vocabulary that they can use to describe and discuss the work of artists. They are introduced to a range of artists including ‘old masters’ alongside more modern and contemporary artists.
